AC Hotel by Marriott Portsmouth

Love this hotel! It’s perfectly located with great amenities!

I was told that if we spent money at the property, ie.. restaurant and bar, our destination fee would be refunded. That was not the case. $25 per day per room plus $1.63 taxes on that fee!! We spent $126.00 the first day at the rooftop restaurant and they would only reimburse $25 for one room and I had paid for 2rooms. And you have to spend $25 dollars, specifically assigned to each room each day?!? Which was not clear in their policy.

Hotel was great. Clean and the room was comfortable. Front desk staff was very friendly. Breakfast in the restaurant downstairs could have been skipped, not really worth the price.

From our initial arrival, the valet attendant was friendly and professional. the check in was quick with excellent service. The room was perfect. clean & spacious. All staff were always friendly and welcoming

What a fantastic weekend we had at the AC Hotel by Marriott Portsmouth. From check-in to check-out, the entire staff did a great job helping us feel welcomed. Would Highly recommend this spot to stay!

The hotel is in a great location and walkable to a lot of shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and the place is clean. We unfortunately could hear the people above us whenever they walked across the floor. I addition, there was a bright blinking light on the smoke detector above our bed that made sleeping hard. If you’re sensitive to noise or light, I’d find another hotel or at least request the top floor. The staff did try to tape over the light for us and it helped slightly, but that was all they could do for us.

We enjoyed our stay.

Property was beautiful and modern; 2 free house cocktails each night was a plus
