Sotetsu Fresa Inn Seoul Myeong Dong

All very good. We had a corner room, at our request—it had no real closet or storage area. It did, however, have a clothing freshener which was a nice plus.

Is convenient and accessible

Property is accessible to almost everything a traveller needs. Very close to bus and rail stations. My only complain is the size of the room. There was no closet space and the beds are about a foot from the opposite walls making it difficult to traverse from one end of the room to another. Especially with a luggage.

Great location! On the main Myeongdong strip with lots of food and shopping options around.

Good location for food and shopping. Staff was friendly. Only exception was I book 2 twin rooms and did not manage to get on the same floor despite having put in my request. Otherwise , excellent stay.

The hotel is well located, just above the shops and night market stalls. Taxis are available just around the corner. The property and rooms are new and clean. The breakfast isn’t available on the premises. Vouchers are provided on arrival which can be used at 4 places in the area. The western breakfast options were basic such as croissant/sandwiches. We would definitely stay at the property again, but probably not opt for breakfast.

We booked the Sotetsu Fresa Inn Myeongdong for the more affordable part of our stay where we planned on spending a lot of time seeing all the sights Seoul has to offer. The hotel is really well located but keep in mind, if you arrive in the evening the road is pedestrianised and turned into the night market. The location of this hotel is the main selling point. Our room was really nice for the price. The downsides of this hotel is that when booking breakfast you aren't told this is provided at a number of cafes separate to the hotel and you are given vouchers for this. The other is that the rooms are small, having researched we knew to book the larger corner room for two people for a slightly longer stay. Overall it's a good option, on the cheaper side for Seoul, especially if you're planning on spending your time exploring all the nearby sights.

Although the room was tiny, we really enjoyed the cleanliness and the facilities in the room. The hotel is well located and staff members are very helpful. However, the breakfast is not served on the promise and the different food options offered are limited.

It is hard to find if you are not familiar with the area. I took a taxi from Seoul Station and the taxi driver had a very hard time finding it. The area is mostly pedestrian so you can't just pull up in front of it. And, they were very inflexible. I booked for 5 days but needed to check out after 3 days and they would not refund me the other two nights.
