Traditional pub with rooms. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Bar closed at 7pm shortly before we arrived and doesn’t serve breakfast. Few if any other options in the village.

Beautiful location in the village of Hartington. Room was nice in terms of layout

Cleanliness was not good at all, just little things and no breakfast options

Beautiful room with everything we needed and very comfy bed..Location is fantastic for walking

Disappointed not to be able to get an evening meal there as only a table at teatime which unfortunately didn't suit our daytime walking plans

Beautiful room wonderful comfy bed great shower and brilliant little touches in the room quality coffee machine hot chocolate biscuits tea water /toothbrushes eye masks etc. fantastic location

Not much to dislike, probably due a lick of fresh paint, but otherwise still very nice. Shame there wasn’t a nice breakfast, but 10% discount offered for next door

This is an old property and needs money spent on things like the windows. It could be listed and that means they will cost a fortune. It didn’t detract from our stay.
