St Charles Coach House, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Location and staff. Parking was very convenient.

The whole property needs a refurb.

Property was comfortable and quiet, also clean.

Parking was not too bad but a good walk.

A+ to have parking close and no extra charge. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming. Coffee in the lobby and maker in room. Nice to have a fridge. Desk also had a mirror which is handy if needed for makeup. Coffee shop close by with amazing pastries. Close to Quarter and other sites. Quiet and cozy.

Coffee cups are small in the room. Keurig machine and I brought my own pods and creamer. Not really a big deal but I like a lot of creamer. ; )

The location is great, staff is very attentive and courteous, and the rooms are well appointed. I had a room facing St. Charles St. on the balcony, and it was awesome.

The location for restaurants was great.

My recent stay was incredibly disappointing due to a complete lack of professionalism and guest priority. Parking was inadequate because of an on-site event, and the front desk staff was unwelcoming, even continuing a blatant dispute in front of us as we checked in. The second floor had an awful smell that went unaddressed, but the worst part was the lack of security on the patio. The area was occupied by non-guests, making it feel so unsafe that we couldn't even relax there. Management needs to prioritize guest safety and staff training to ensure the grounds remain a professional and secure environment. I booked this hotel because I felt it wasn't to far from canal with the tram, however for the service we experienced I should have paid extra and stayed in the French Quarters.

Historic hotel in the garden district with free parking at a great price. Easy walking distance to coffee shop and local restaurants. Convenient Trolly stop and short ride to Canal Street.

From the beginning with the fabulous woman working the front desk to the end when we got a sincere goodbye, it was a very pleasant experience. The location could not be better, close to the Garden District and tons of restaurants and in the other direction, downtown and the French Quarter, all a quick streetcar ride. We will be back.

The street car stops right in front of the hotel. Walking distance to historic mansions in the garden district. The staff was super friendly, the room was soooo cute and nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. We had room number 5 which had an access to the balcony, sitting out there in the evenings was very pleasant. The included covered parking was a plus. We would definitely sray here again and highly recommend.

Great location! Far enough away from the loud crazy French Quarter but close enough to venture if we wanted to. Rooms are big, clean and nicely decorated. Staff was professional, kind, and accommodating.
