Breakfast was an issue. We need to tell the owner of the property early in the morning what time the breakfast we need or tell the previous night

Lovely guesthouse with a fantastic family! The room was spacious & AC worked really well! Common area was great which included tea/coffee, filtered drinking water and a fridge!!!

Location was a little far out of town but meant it was quiet which is good - only thing to note is that it’s super close to the railway line which does wake you up at 6.30am but that wasn’t a problem for us!!

The owner is nice and friendly. The place is near jaffna town.

Washrooms are not up to expectations. We booked 2 rooms. In one room, the showers are not working well and the washroom is very small.

The room was simple but comfortable. The owner and Hilda were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There were tea-making facilities and a communal area. The real highlight was the delicious local breakfast cooked by Hilda.

The host was very helpful The location was super for the train and most other things

My brother and I had a great stay at D'Villa Guest House. The room was spacious enough for two, with a nice bathroom and chill common area with a fridge. It was generally quiet, except for the train. We were on the front side of the building, and it didn't disturb us much. It is situated a little out of the center, but very accessible with a tuktuk or scooter. As an added bonus we were able to catch the morning train (630 am) right from the train station 5 minutes down the road to Anuradhapura.

Dylan who owns the property and lives downstairs was very friendly, helpful and accomodating. He spoke excellent English and gave me good advice for exploring Jaffna and nearby islands. He was very accommodating when I needed to extend my stay at short notice. The housekeeper, Hilda, was very friendly and helpful. Location is good as is a residential area but also a short 10/15 min bus or tuk tuk to centre of Jafna.
