Room was given away before we arrived. Our reservation was not honored. Hotel management made no attempt to reconcile the situation.

This isn't bad for what it is. Don't look too close. If you figure in the price of 2 breakfasts at a restaurant and just stay at a slightly better hotel... This hotel has the WORST breakfast I've ever seen at a hotel. Oh, well. You've been warned.

I experienced a series of mild disappointments: 1) the building was undergoing exterior renovations but only in portions, however, I was assigned a room in the construction zone. There was plastic sheeting over my window, and at 9:00 am, while I was on a videoconference, the construction work started causing me to retreat to my car to finish the meeting. 2) The breakfast bar had limited offerings, and what was there was not fully stocked: no milk for the cereal, no syrup for the waffles, the cranberry juice was out of juice. One patron went to find help and failed on his first trip. On his second try he reported that he found "them" but I didn't wait around to see if they were prompt in their response as I had a meeting to run off too. Still, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient, and the price was right.

The swimming pool was very nice and fun for the kids. However, there were no blankets for the pull-out couch and only one pillow. There was no extra toilet paper and not enough towels and wash cloths for six people. This room had two queen beds and a pull-out couch (for six people). It seems to have decreased in quality service over the years.

Breakfast

Got the suite. Food on floor. Intimate stains on sofa. Sheets dirty pillows smelled. Extra security lock was broken. After asking for another suite we got down graded to no whirlpool. But the room was in better condition.

The carpet seems very old. Parts of the building smelled musty. The breakfast was sub par. On the plus side the pool and spa was heated and very clean.

The front desk staff was not present. The room was smelly and rug very soiled. I asked for room deoridizer. The linen although appeared clean had a odor. The overall condition of the property was poorly maintained. Although I have stayed there in the past, I will not return.

Room was very quiet with a lovely view of the cornfields. Mattress was firm without being hard. Shower pressure was strong. There was a microwave. There were two TV's in the suite. Lucas was very friendly and helpful at the front desk. Always enjoy having waffles available for breakfast.

Pillows were terrible! They were much too big. We couldn't get comfortable which ruined our sleep. Food had been left in the fridge. Shower temperature could become too hot if you weren't careful adjusting it. There should be a hold on bar on the inside of the shower. Some breakfast items were cold.
