Quality Inn & Suites Dixon near I-88

The pool was under construction.

Recently booked a wedding block here and would not recommend. Staff were less than helpful. There were complications with guests booking rooms and staff not being able to find the block throughout the entire process. My brother is an amputee and I called the confirm his room was ADA accessible THREE times. When he checked there was “none available.” Thankfully he is young and adaptable but showering standing up was less than desirable, not to mention a safety risk. Multiple guests had to wait various hours past check in to actually get in their rooms. When we got back after the reception various guests, including me, were stuck outside of our rooms bc the keys would not work. Finally got them to work but if we left the room we would have to go back downstairs and get them connected again. Rooms were outdated, but we knew that going into it and that was the least of our worries. Now I’m getting an email stating that two guests didn’t have a card on file and they are going to charge my card (which is not in our contract). Guests were given room keys and checked in at the front desk, it is protocol to get a form of payment at the desk. Said guest also called Thursday before the reservation and paid over the phone. We were also told by Bianca when booking the block that we would get a free night after 10 rooms were booked and then were denied a complimentary room.

Horrible hotel! Our group was in town for a celebration. Although Dixon is a nice midwest town, this hotel proved to be a terrible experience. The reservation process was messed up. Rooms were dirty with stained sheets, mold and a torn shower curtain. A/C, room keys and remotes did not work. Breakfast was limited and one of the breakfast attendants was downright mean. And the manager was sooo rude!!! Do not stay here!!!

Seemed like the weekend staff was on vacation as well. NO towels available at the pool area. Specifically stayed here because it was a great price and had a jacuzzi. Got to use the jacuzzi the first night and then it was broken the rest of the weekend. Asked for towels to the pool area. I

Overall very good

We have stayed at this property before and didn't have any problems. This time we had no housekeeping for 7 days! We asked three times and were told each time it would happen, that housekeeping doesn't go home until they're done. We talked to one of the maids one day, and she said she couldn't do our room because of pet dander since we had dogs, and she would have Brittany do it. Brittany never did it. We did get replacement towels ONCE after housekeeping left for the day. Our trash accumulated and we had to ask for trash bags, too. The room was not really dirty, but it was not very clean feeling. It's obvious that the owners are putting their money into the new hotel next door, which they also own. We will not be staying here again.

Everything was nice

Upon arrival, our room had a terrible smell of mold and urine. We immediately asked for a new room and we were moved. Our new room also had a musty smell, but it was tolerable. The air conditioner didn’t work great. We had it set at 60 for the duration of our stay and it never got below 74 degrees. There was often no one at the front desk and we had to wait for over 5 minutes for someone to arrive at the front desk. Breakfast was only served until 9 and it was extremely limited. I wouldn’t stay here again.
