Quality Inn & Suites Dixon near I-88

Check in was difficult because the desk agent had to contact the manager to change rooms when the frig didn’t work. Also found a fork under the bed of the second room.

Good place

Asked for 2 days for a hair dryer. No iron. No remote and the one given us would not turn the TV off Metal bat in bed slammed my husband's ankle snd is now bruised. Blanket was ultra thin. AC was either freezing cold or loweredc2 degrees was hot and humid. Used ironing board to put makeup etc. on as there was no place to put it. Carpet was dingy and room very dated. 2 plugs by bed to charge phones.

The staff was great. Especially the woan who checked us in. Polite and knowledgeable of the area.

The walls were very thin and the property was pretty dated, for the price paid (which was not much less than the hilton next door would have been). The bed was uncomfortable. The pictures online are not a good representation of the actual state of the property. But the staff was very nice in my interactions with them, and the room was decently clean.

The hotel isn't bad but needs improvement. We have family in the area so have stayed here multiple times this year. Our first stay was in one of the suites and was very nice. My husband and step-son stayed here again, one month later and the television in their room did not work. It would turn on but you could not get past the menu. We came back in April and booked 2 rooms, one for my daughter and one for me and my husband. We received the exact same room that my husband had and the television was still broken. In my daughter's room, the air conditioner was not working. Also, 1 of our cards would not work. They switched our rooms. My daughter's room was fine but our toilet would not flush. My husband is pretty handy so instead of switching rooms again, he fixed the stopper. The staff was very helpful and courteous but appeared overworked. Staying someplace else on our next visit. Like I said, it is not a bad hotel but issues need to be fixed in a timely manner to encourage repeat business.
