Comfort Inn Saugerties

The front desk service was very unprofessional and rude both at check-in and other times. At breakfast ( they offer continental free breakfast- they ran out of coffee at 9.30 and the guy at reception said: oh well that’s all the coffee for today. The waffle making area was dirty, with hair pieces being stuck to the cleaning spatula. There was no milk anywhere to be found at the breakfast station. Overall is a 2 star hotel with an 1 star guest service. Absolutely not acceptable. They charge $200 for a night and their services are terrible.

Drove 3 hours and booked to find out pool wasn’t available three other hotel next to each other with pools. Should have said on hotels.com or the website

Staff was very friendly and helpful

Very convenient location, right off the Thruway and close to convenience stores, gas stations, and dining options. The staff was nice, and the continental breakfast was good. The hotel smelt of Fabulosa, very strongly, carpets and furniture were stained, my first night there I went to go to bed, and the bedspread and sheets were dirty from the previous person. They changed everything at my request and I did not have a problem after that.

It’s ok

Room was large, clean, comfortable, quiet. Multiple maintenance issues indicate neglect. Carpets stained. Public areas needed cleaning. Good deal for the price.

The experience was disappointing from start to finish. The breakfast was underwhelming, the hotel room had an unpleasant odor, and the pool area was poorly maintained. Overall, it fell far below expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Nearly everything about this experience needs improvement. The fridge in the room was dirty, the pool hall had a persistent leak, which flooded it, and the bathroom sink was clogged and needed cleaning. Additionally, the staff's attitude toward clients was disappointing, lacking warmth and attentiveness. There’s a lot of potential, but significant changes are needed to enhance the guest experience.

Clean and super quiet. Comfortable bed.
