Staff were pleasant

Rooms are very tired. Our bath tap leaked all night, and parts of the pipework are taped up! 2 tissues in the tissue box for show. Water already in the kettle. Not enough milk for 2 cups of tea. Towels are tiny. All very basic stuff that should be in place. I think £85 for the night was expensive given the location and the above.

The location was very convenient and on site parking a very big bonus with motorway services next to the hotel for any shopping/ food needs. Room was a good size, decor rather dated. On site bar and outdoor seating area was lovely and reasonable prices. Friendly and helpful staff.

The cleanliness in the bathroom and room itself could have been better, dust found on the bedside table. There was a build up of dirt and dust behind the bathroom door. Also, the slate going into the bathroom is broken and moving in room 118 and can cut the foot if stepped on the broken edges. No AC unit in room. This could have been a great bonus on such a hot day during our stay. Toilet paper holder kept falling off, might need replacing.
