"Value for money means I have no complaints"

For the price I paid £45 last minute for a Friday night, it did the job and I was happy. Staff were very friendly. There was a party going on but I couldn’t hear it in my room. You got a lovely oat biscuit and it was a spacious room.

They’re updating the key system and require you to be let into your room via someone on reception so if you’re in and out, it’s a pain. The breakfast quality is poor but again, you get what you pay for. They do have lactose free milk and soya in the fridge. No shower curtain so bathroom floor was wet.

"Cigarette smoke smells in our room"

The location was great and the free parking too

The roof filled with the smell of cigarette smoke at times during the day. More prominent in the bathroom. The decor was tired, furniture broken or stained. The ceiling and walls all showed their age. After consultation with reception, there were no other rooms for a family of 4 son we had to stay. There was no offer of any compensation or remedial actions.

Stained carpets. Stained chairs. Lift not working. Despite not being very busy put on top floor🥵. Breakfast was awful sausages from a jar fried ham not bacon. It was grosss

Nothing

Breakfast advised at the wrong time and when arrived the next day at the right time the chef hadn't even arrived. The room smelt and the decor was outdated and in need of a refurbishment
