"Work stay. "

Staff lovely Room very clean Breakfast was cooked perfect. A lot better than the buffet here last time. They just need to look at there pricing. Hotel was pretty empty. Yet the premier inn was sold out 15 mins down road. Because it was £15 cheaper. And just as good.

"Good if they sort out breakfast problems "

Great staff. Room clean and good quality. Air con couldn’t b turned off and vibrating all night. Gym small but clean Breakfast not good. No coffee beans to make coffee. Breakfast was ok if it was hot. But it was cold. Scrambled eggs looked gross. Didn’t know eggs could go brown. Orange juice warm.

"Good"

It's a Holiday Inn, expect the levels of service of a Holiday Inn. The teenage staff do not give a shizer about anything, every item of furniture in the foyer has a stain on, the breakfast is not monitored and items quickly run out. The rooms are ok, you get a bed and a shower.

"Nice hotel, good food and lovely staff"

Stayed for 3 nights to carry out 2 days training using one of the hotels training rooms, hotel room comfortable but a tad on the small side, the food was excellent, I actually had one of the best steaks I have had for a while! Staff are really good, the young man in reception was great, especially when he stepped into the chefs role when the breakfast chef went sick, well played 👍 and just but not least, the young lady who looks after you at breakfast is an absolute star 🌟 accommodating and very friendly, ever helpful and makes you feel at home, I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name but nothing was too much trouble.

"Good but could be better."

Not bad for the night, Bedding and towels were clean. Negatives were birthroom was a little grubby round the edges and the sofa was lumpy as heck with all sorts of stains. Modern hotel rooms you expect to be able to plug in a HDMI cable to the TV not such luck hear at TV is boxed in. Common areas and Bar bright and clean, food was passable but a bit pricey and blatently just warmed up not cooked from scratch.

"Go to premier inn!"

Booked a wheelchair accessible room but had to move furniture around just to get around the bed and some lights didn't work! not the best start. Wanted to watch some tv before bed but alot of the channels didn't work. Breakfast cost us nearly £20 and it was nasty! Hot breakfast wasn't hot, coffe was rank and it was alll just cheap and nasty

"Lovely stay"

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of our trip and again at the end of our trip. Both times we had excellent service. The staff was wonderful. The breakfasts were good. The rooms were clean & comfortable. It was in a very nice location, close to the motorway, close to where our family stays. If there's any downside, it is that the hotel could use some updating, but that didn't detract from our stay at all. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and if we ever need a place to stay in that area, we would definitely return to this Holiday Inn. 10 stars!

"One night stay to break up a long journey"

Just re-opened to the public. Stayed here for one night to break up a long journey. Arrived late, staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and well presented. Plenty of parking and a pleasant bar area to relax in after a long drive.

"Turned away by security"

I had booked this hotel online in January 2022. I received a confirmation email. When I arrived on June 3rd 2022 I was turned away by security staff. I protested that I had a reservation. I eventually had to go to another hotel at extra cost. I complained to customer services on my return home. Complaint ignored. I complained using Facebook and received a response as "hotel closed until November rebook it then". I don't want to use IHG hotels again if I can avoid doing so. I wanted a refund of the difference at least.
