This hotel has a fire pit outside, beside the hotel. A large group was allowed to sit out there and party from midnight to 3 am. I called the front desk twice; the second time I had to ask them specifically to ask the party to disburse or move elsewhere. They were keeping an entire side of the hotel guests awake. Never going back to that hotel.

"Night staff not helpful"

The person who checked us in was nice. The room was acceptable. Then the smoke detector low battery went off at 3 am multiple times. I found the phone to call the front desk, it was disconnected. I used my cell phone to call the front desk. The woman said her monitor showed no fire. She told me to disconnect the battery from the smoke detector and someone would come in the morning to fix it. She said the phones were being updated and some of them were not working. I expressed more concern for safety, and she did not seem to be able to help at all. Needless to say I was unable to sleep the rest of the night because I was so mad and concerned. Upon checkout, there was no one at the front desk. Just a bowl to put your key in.

The staff was super amazing and welcoming in every way. Room was spacious but definitely needs some updates and minor repairs. Iโ€™m not sure if it was the A/C unit or the cars parked outside that was super loud all night and morning long. Other than that for a one night stay, i guess I canโ€™t comodรญn too much.

I spent two nights here on a work trip last week and had a terrible experience. Negatives: 1. Upon entering the room, there was an overpowering scent of a strong air freshener. 2. The Trump/Kamala debate was about to begin and when I tried to turn on the room TV to watch but it was not working and when I tried to use the room phone to call the front desk, that wasnโ€™t working either. I sent a message to the front desk via my Marriott app and it took them over two hours to respond and the employee didnโ€™t have much empathy and said they were sold out so I couldnโ€™t change rooms. 3. During the first two hours I was in that room, I started sneezing a lot and coughing. 4. There was a strong sewer smell coming from the bathroom and I wondered if that was why housekeeping had tried to mask it with copious amounts of air freshener? Gross. 5. I went to bed and had a nearly sleepless night because in addition to the aforementioned issues, the mattress topper was WAY too thick and uncomfortable and my allergies to whatever was in that room worsened overnight. By morning I was congested and sick when I left for work. 6. Upon returning to the room the second night and having become so sick, it dawned on me to look at the AC unit in the room and when I did I was completely disgusted by how filthy the vent was. The hotel management needs to do a better job overseeing the cleaning practices to ensure the vents are cleaned. I was not at all sick when I arrived to the hotel and after two hours in that room I started sneezing and coughing which progressively got worse and led to a respiratory infection! I am a Titanium member with Marriott and this experience was extremely disappointing. Avoid staying here and find a newer property.
