Courtyard Detroit Brighton

Disappointed. I stay at Marriotts close to 75-80 nights a year on business. I stay there solely because they have internet TV and Hilton does not. This might seem trivial, but I like to watch my shows, baseball, etc thru my Amazon prime account which every Marriott I stay at, has access to- until now. No free coffee except the garbage they have in the room, but no lids. The Mobil key didn’t work, had to go down to front desk on multiple occasions. I’m really disappointed in this location, as I imagine 90% of their clientele are business travelers, like myself. I’d rather stay at any Fairfield for $40 less.

It was a good stay. The room was clean and very cool in this hot weather. The only thing that I wished it had was a microwave but not a big issue.

Didn't have Breakfast

1. Not given the room I booked. 2. Front desk very unapologetic and rude. 3. About 8 functioning TV channels. 4. 2:30am Fire Alarm wake up. 5. No breakfast. 6. Stained sheet. 7. Will not stay at another Courtyard Marriot.

When I booked the booking was with breakfast and we were two in the room, when taking breakfast they said only one will get free while the other to pay! I have never seen this kind of treatment before. It was strange for me. The breakfast itself was not ready, you order they make like restaurant! That was inconvenient.

Our room was clean and loved the layout. The beds were a bit hard and not very comfortable and I regret not bringing my pillow from home. Overall it was a nice stay.

we told the front desk the tv didnt work and they said there was no one who would help. almost noone in the hotel and they didnt ask if we wanted to change rooms. they were very nice on the surface but clearly didnt care or most of the tvs in the. entire place were broke. although service horrible, facility was nice. impossible to skeep on very lumpy bed.
