Courtyard by Marriott Florence

Interior construction with flooring unsafe and easy to trip. Indoor Pool was not heated. Rooms were just okay. Not exciting

BEWARE: DO NOT STAY Have seen several reviews that they do not clean the reviews and this is true. There is a note on the wall claiming it’s not even a Marriott and owned by a third party. -First Room: Bed unmade, prior occupants keys on the counter, sheets weren’t even cleaned. Entire floor smelled like weed. -Second Room: Mgr told us to let us know if this met our standards. Guess clean sheets in a hotel isn’t the standard to this establishment. -Second Room: Bed was made, who knows if actually cleaned. Empty beer cans in the trash. Sink drain shut and won’t open. Had to spit toothpaste into a pool of water for the night and morning. Bedside chargers don’t work. Bathroom was disgusting. Spider crawled out of our drain. No soap by bathroom sink.

We were delighted to learn that this is a dog friendly hotel and welcomed our Golden Retriever. It is very well appointed - inside the rooms, great seating options, lighting, charging options, work areas - inside the hotel facilities with the restaurant, pool, fitness center - and outside with lighted parking and several dog walking stations and areas. All areas sparkled as if brand new. The staff was friendly and professional and accommodated our first floor request. When checking out, my husband was greeting by name as he approached the front desk! The manager has a great team at this location!

Great place to stay the night while traveling through. The price was reasonable and the rooms were comfortable and quiet. Added benefit is having a Chilis restaurant in walking distance.

The desk attendant was very helpful and was so elegant

Towels were stained, supplies in bathroom didn’t work. We booked for 3 people - clearly we needed the sofa bed - it didn’t open and we had to ask for supplies for our daughter to sleep on the couch.

Property was great but the air went out in two of my rooms, and the water was cold when i went to shower. Other than that everything was great. We were offered the option of moving. But didnt want to move all of our things and we were leaving the next morning.

It was a good stay

Wish they had continental breakfast but really liked the balcony and the bed was comfortable! Bathroom tub could be updated. Overall great, convenient place to stay.

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Room was freezing (good sleeping on hot sticky night!)
