Quality Inn

The room was excellent, the beds great, staff excellent, nice breakfast lounge

Staff were abundantly friendly from arrival through discharge. I thought the room was nicely updated. The bed was comfortable (so much so, I enjoyed the rare 'good nights' sleep). I loved that they offered a complimentary hot buffet breakfast (staff were very attentive in keeping the food stocked up). The room was affordable. We also appreciate that there is an indoor pool - and towels were stocked up! :)

Hotel is in need of some TLC and upgrades (I.e. the breakfast area looks very make-shift with unfinished dry wall/curtains, stairways -and the fan in it- need a good cleaning, lighting and odor management could be improved in hallways, pool area looks very tired). It would be nice if some convenience items were offered for purchase (or even a vending machine that accepted tap).

I have never written a poor review, or complained to a company. I do think it's important to know that a location you are booking from your site is under significant construction (there was no sign with the hotel name, the windows were boarded up). The construction was very loud. The area of the pool has some very unclean looking liquid dripping from the roof into the pool - the pool linear was so damaged it looked like it should not be used (we did not use it, it was the strange colour liquid dripping into the pool that led to that decision). The carpets were so dirty and stained in the hallways I thought we went into an unauthorized area. Although we did not have high expectations for the breakfast, its continental and we are grateful for what we get - the food was not edible.
