Ocean 27

Didn’t like anything no more than being on the beach the room had ants we had to get bug spray to try and get rid of the ants never could get connected to the internet. So I really didn’t enjoy the stay the room was just dirty never seen a housekeeper for those 3 days. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

There only so much a new layer of paint can do. Tucked between all the bigger hotels is this motel on its last leg. The parking spots are so tiny. Plan to take extra anxiety medications for this one. The lady at check in was pleasant, enough. The curb appeal is less than appealing. The pool is full of sand and in the shade of all the giant buildings surrounding. The stairwells and halways are carpeted, and never seem to get dry or see the light of day. Wet and dingy. The room needed a complete soak in Lysol. The carpet needs to be ripped up. Its dark, the isnt enough lighting. But I'd be terrified to see this place in good lighting. The furniture needs updating, the TV is not smart, the toilet seat was broken and every surface needed wiping down. We did not use the shower, no thank you. The king size bed itself was comfortable, enough. But the pillows for worst than what you would expect from a hospital room. I wouodn't even say, "you get what you pay for." Because we paid $400 for this, one night. And people will keep paying it, bc its available, on the boadwalk and prime location. Nothing will ever get fixed, because why would you, when the rooms are all booked up? This place will become condemned and demolished, a shiney new sonething in its place, soon enough.

The room was not swept. There was trash behind the TV stand. There was a hole in the wall. The bath tub was stained. The balcony door hinges were rusted so opening the door was difficult

The taxi comes off the interstate to the beach. The only direction to turn is to the left along Atlantic avenue to 27th street and there is Ocean 27. The taxi lets me off, I go inside through open doors of people exiting. There is a desk and chairs, but no one around. I wait and ask multiple tenants passing by. Their universal response was it was Sunday and no one works here on Sunday. In a period of about 2 hours I wrote 3 letters to Hotels.com and even now, and 7 plus days later, I still haven't recieved a response from Hotels.com. So what do I do, I get another hotel. I get a taxi and go a little farther north to a new hotel and check in and move in to my new hotel. But going there, what do I see, but a resturaunt and then another hotel named Ocean 27. After I check in to my new hotel, I walk back to the 2nd Ocean 27 and go in and see and talk to a man behind the desk. I explain the situation and ask if I have a reservation with him, he says yes and I tell him I tried to check in at the first address and couldn't and then he asks if I want to check in or cancel and I said I need to cancel Ocean 27. I still haven't straightened out this mess or the charges. They obviously know they have 2 addressed near each other both named Ocean 27 but they didn't inform me or answer any correspondence.

The pictures of this property do not match what you actually get. Ive never been more dissapointed. The bathroom ceiling and tub were severely stained. The covers were thin and tattered, Broken outlets, dirty carpet. very outdated.

Good service, requested upper level floor and got one. Very dirty though. If your young and wanna save 40-80 dollars and still have an ocean view then this a solid option but if you have the money to upgrade. I really recommend doing so, a lot of people settle enough throughout their life and on vacation you should be allowed to splurge, if you are older.

I didn't get the room that I booked through expedia. First floor, balcony and ocean view. I was given keys to a verstinky and dirty room with a tiny balcony and no ocean view. In front ofa staeway with a large tash can overflowing with trash. My view was sand with over grown weeds. I have disputed the charge of $728.84 with Bank of America. I am still in the prosses
