Very unhygienic stay, clogged bathrooms with dirty air filter’s and smells like weed morning or night. Bed sheets with stains and overall not worth the stay. Ants in the room roaming the floor.

The check in person should not be allowed to have contact with the public. Very rude and disrespectful to a paying customer. The motel should be burned to the ground and rebuilt. For several blocks up and down the boardwalk this is by far the worst. And I’ve stayed at several.

TLDR: bug infested(cockroaches), dirty, poorly maintained, management is rude and unhelpful. Book here at your own risk… Now the grit: We didn’t mind that it was older, or even a bit worn (you get what you pay for), but I did mind the uninvited guests (roaches) that came out after the lights went off, as well as the critters that decided to attack my wife (bed bugs maybe?). The faucet in the bathroom would not turn off, there was no shower curtain for the shower/tub, the tub itself was filthy, as was the toilet. We were going to look past that, again, until the unwanted guests. The deadbolt did not work on the patio door (we were on the ground level) and the a/c could not make the room cool. We left in the middle of the night to find somewhere we could sleep as there was no getting any there. We let the night clerk know (she was very apologetic and sweet), and asked if they had another room even, which they did not as the cleaning team did not show up the day we checked in (Sunday in July). Went back the next day to get a refund, manager would not refund any $$ as we had used the dirty toilet. We had to go through Expedia to get our second day canceled, but it was still only partially refunded. Management is in denial, they denied everything. Book here at your own risk. This place is an absolute toilet.

I had a deeply disappointing stay at this hotel. The rooms were shockingly dirty, with filthy carpets that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years—stained and grimy beyond belief. The furniture was equally bad, covered in dust and questionable marks that made me hesitant to touch anything. The bathroom was the worst part: grimy tiles, moldy grout, and a generally unclean vibe that made showering unpleasant. The entire place feels neglected and run-down, like it’s one step away from being condemned. It’s clear the property is in desperate need of a complete overhaul or just a tear-down. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until major improvements are made

The first floor rooms are easy access to a lawn for children or adults to sit and relax if you don't prefer the beach. The lawn is beside the boardwalk and views of the waves are fabulous. The access to restaurants was a plus, too! Short walks to anything!

Ice-makers weren’t working on any level…. Bathtub disgusting dirty mold… the air conditioner worked very well & the bed was comfortable

Parking can be a challenge but the staff was helpful. Didnt get the room upgrade I paid for

We made a last minute reservation through Expedia and wasn’t sure what to expect. But when we got here, the check-in agent was very nice and kind. We got their last room and we were very overjoyed to find it was an oceanfront room! Our room was clean, neat, and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is great and right on the oceanfront. The outside of the hotel was, well, not impressionable, but the clean room and the check-in agent’s kindness has made our stay wonderful! The price was very reasonable too. 🙂. One thing to be aware of is that there is no elevator. I missed this when booking the room. But it was okay for us. I would stay here again.
