Cottonwood Inn and Conference Center

Stopped here overnight and it was a great choice. Right off of I 129 so easy to get to it was hard to believe. The service at the front desk was cheerful and very helpful both checking in and checking out. We were on the ground floor so it was a little noisy. The recommendation for a local place to get supper was spot on, The Crystal just down the street good food and good service. The breakfast and hot coffee in the morning made for a great start to the day. If we ever get to this area again well will stay there.

Location excellent, right off a freeway. No problems with highway noise. Bed comfortable; temperature control worked well. Plenty of hot water, and nice high shower head. Desk staff friendly and helpful when problems arose with my room.

Toilet in my room not working, and repair crew doesn't come in on weekends, so they had to move me to a different room, which was a nuisance. Neither room had very good lighting: OK for reading in bed, but poor for working at the desk, and even with all lights on the room was fairly dim. Price high, given the quality of the room.

Stay was good. Bed was alittle uncomfortable. Was not very many choices for breakfast. Seemed to be out of items.

Everything was very clean, which I appreciated. The property seemed pretty old. There was a hole in the shower wall that was covered with tape. The smoke alarm in the bedroom was covered with a plastic bag-- I'm assuming to prevent false alarms from shower humidity in the bathroom, but it did make me wonder how safe that was and if it met fire code.

We were very happy with this hotel. Good price. Clean. Nice breakfast - eggs, sausage, waffles - original or red velvet, fruit, toast or English muffin, cereal, coffee and juice. Courteous staff. Comfortable bed. Nice size tv.
