good luck checking in afterhours. they have instructions to ring a bell or call a number to check in after 10pm but no one answers or responds. you will be left outside with your reservation. great

Let's start by saying you get what you pay for. If you want a fancy hotel with lots of amenities, this isn't it. I spent 2 nights here and yes, it's outdated but the bed was clean, the shower was hot ( didn't drain ), staff was nice. I actually paid a little less than what they quoted me over the phone. I also asked for a ground floor room ahead of time which I received with no issues. Honestly if I was traveling without the family and needed a cheap place to stay in the area I would stay here again.

Hotel is way past its prime. Pool in decay/disrepair. Old window unit air conditioner that even on a cool night had trouble keeping room temps down/steady. Room extremely stuffy when first entered. Pretty much what I expected with this low of a rate. That was the draw.

Amazing mom and pop operation. I got in late and they were very accommodating and welcoming. They even let me sleep in and check out late with no hassles. Extremely good value, wonderful hosts!

Rude front desk, they don't seem to care. Twice I was asked to go to a different hotel. I definitely do NOT recommend this place. I reserved a room for a sales guy and the website advertised FREE breakfast. They do not have free breakfast so that was a huge disappointment. When I tried to extend the stay and provide my credit card information (again) I was told they would call the police because they wanted their room back. The night desk lady assured me it would not be a problem and just let them know I needed another night. It's comical just how BAD the service is here.

I booked a room for 2 nights for my college-aged son directly with the hotel, and gave my credit card information over the phone. When he arrived, he was given a room card, checked into his room, then went out for the evening. When he returned at 1:30pm, there was someone else in his room. He went to the desk and was told that the hotel had overbooked and had no other rooms. Fortunately, he as able to retrieve what he had left in the room and there were no charges on my card. SCARY!

I you are looking for a hotel with a lot of amenities this is not the place. But if you want a clean comfortable room at a reasonable price,give this place a try. Breakfast wasn't much nothing but coffee and milk to drink. But I had plans to go to breakfast with my granddaughter anyway. Will stay again if in the area.

We got in late at night and gad two rooms reserved since my family was driving from Michigan and my sister's family from Tennessee. We were first moved to different rooms due to each of us having a very small dog and had to pay more. The rooms we paid more for were disgusting!!!! Mold in the bathrooms and hair all over the tub! After turning down the beds we found live bed bugs!!! Dead ones and body hair from the last peopke there!!! Clearly the sheets were never changed and the bathroom not cleaned! The soap/shampoo was half full. We left and never stayed! Not only did they refuse to give me my money back for the extra money I paid for pets that never stayed but the room was not refunded either! Expedia said they wouldn't do anything either. Now we had to pay for another room at a different hotel ( Red Roof Inn in Troy was clean and beautiful!!!) was already on a budget so it ruined our plans to say the least! Oh let's not forget the recent vomit stains on the carpet on the floor right next to the bed that grossed out the kids and nearly made one of them sick herself!!!

After a long day on the road w simply had to find a place to stop and rest. Our internet search pointed us to the Rodeway Inn. Pulling up we all took pause and thought maybe the rooms look better than the exterior presentation. The hotel staff was not warm in anyway. I've stayed at hotels all over the world and the one thing that always adds to the stay is the staff. If they believe in the place it makes your stay so much more pleasant. The older lady who checked us in did not have that charisma or interest. Landscaping was overrun. The pool wasn't working so that was another amennity we lost out on. The room. Wow. There was a smell of being stale and closed in. Your guest perk was a tiny bar of soap. The bathroom was marginally tidy so we were able to take showers. They clearly had not done any updating on this place. After our showers we simply couldn't stay. The bed didn't look clean. I've never left a hotel as exhausted and disappointed as I did with the Rodeway Inn. Perhaps later we will laugh but not now. They are really not the place their somewhat polished Internet photos projected. Keep going find a better place down the road about 15 minutes away.
