Good pool, clean room

We stood in line for 30 minutes to check in. Shuttle was very unreliable and unorganized. Restaurant choices lacked variety.

Setting and location to activities in Stone Mtn wonderful. Went to check in lodge. Room not ready at 4 pm. No hand soap or cups in room. Front desk person ran all around trying to find shuttle driver to take us to mtn. No ice machine worked on our floor the entire time, or floor below us. Coffee shop lady made coffee with same gloves she was emptying trash at that time.... Pool beautiful, but generally very poorly run.....

The entire resort needs a refresh. Our rooms were not ready at the check in time of 4:00. We had four kind rooms booked for a conference on site. Finally, at 4:40 they had rooms with two queen beds, so we switched to those. The tavern smelled like dirty carpet, and the bar was weathered. The hotel rooms were ok, but there were spiderwebs in my room. The Starbucks was a nice addition. There were no towels in my room, I tried calling the front desk, no one answered, so I had to go to the desk to ask for some towels. They delivered them about 15 minutes later.

Hotel experience was great with the amenities however the shuttle driver didn’t want to accommodate the hotel guests since it was a party that needed to be transported. When they have special events they need more drivers to accommodate hotel guests with transportation to outside attractions. One of the beds in my room was dirty so hopefully the other rooms are clean but it had dirty sheets someone did not change the sheets in between guests.

First off, the staff we encountered were all very friendly helpful and cordial. Now to the bad, website said the waterside grill was open for breakfast from 7 to 11. We went at 10 and were told they were closed. Secondly, our room on floor 1 included a patio. Outside the balcony patio were used baby diapers and trash that has obviously been there for numerous days. All in all a disappointing stay.

The Property is in a Beautiful Location, and The Staff are Amazingly Friendly.

The rooms were rundown. Stained, smelly carpets, broken light fixtures, worn down furniture, and broken balcony doors, having to move rooms 2 times.
