Fisherman's Cove Resort

Excellent location, staff.

The buffet dinner menus are good.

The staff aren't that friendly and they just want more money, there wasn't enough transparency. Also we are not aware of the deposit policy, additionally there was an unpleasant smell coming from the tap water.

WOW … What an amazing resort to stay at! We were only here for 4 days and I’m already wishing to return … but next time for a much longer stay!

The bathroom in the garden suite doesn’t match what is shown on booking.com. The bathroom privacy shown on booking.com and in reality doesn’t match for suite number 9208. This was disappointing and also there were too many ants in the room. The rooms seems to be outdated.

We loved our stay at Fisherman's Cove Resort. Location was great. The resort feels very safe and the grounds are beautifully kept. The staff were fantastic - very helpful, very friendly. Our room was as described. The cleaning was immaculate, so hats off to housekeeping! Towels were good quality. Hot water worked well. Air-conditioning was efficient, quiet and easy to adjust. WiFi worked well everywhere on the resort. Bed was big and extremely comfortable, with plenty of pillows. Great lighting in the room. Soaps were refillable, rather than single-use miniatures. The food here was amazing, especially at Le Cardinal restaurant! Such a talented team of chefs, and wonderful team of catering staff. Fisherman's Cove seems a bit smaller than other nearby resorts but has a lot more charm and feels more private. The gym is small but has staple pieces of equipment. Pool looked nice but we didn't use it. Pool towels were included and there were plenty of poolside sunbeds and umbrellas that were popular with guests. We enjoyed the beach, which was clean, quiet and provided easy access to a beautiful coral reef teeming with tropical fish. The resort provides snorkel equipment, paddle boards and kayaks at a little kiosk for the Marine Conservation Society Seychelles, which is dedicated to preserving, growing and educating about coral. We had an early flight in to the Seychelles and a late flight out, so we were very grateful we could use resort facilities before we checked in and after we checked out. All in all, we were extremely happy with our stay at Fisherman's Cove Resort, and are planning to come again. Would definitely recommend, this resort is a solid 10/10.

Two minor issues I think are worth mentioning. Just as a heads up, the bathroom door provides very little in way of privacy, although this is a common issue for resorts and hotels in the Seychelles. Secondly, I feel that water should have been provided with dinner. We were half-board, so drinks were not included. But I feel that resorts of this calibre should provide water with all meals as a way to support guests' health and hydration, especially as many people may not be used to such hot climates. I think this small change would make a big difference to guests' experience and wellbeing. Regardless, we were still very happy with our stay.
