Every member of staff incredibly friendly and courteous - special shout out to Moe and Akash! Rooms very modern, clean and ocean facing! Can't fault a thing, everything excellent. We had a wonderful stay.

Since we went last November the hotel has had some maintenance carried out. Staff were as polite and friendly as ever. The ‘Story Hotel’ next door is available for guests to use. 20% off meals and drinks. It’s a newer (expensive) hotel.

Swimming pool loungers/parasols need renewing. Getting ‘tatty’. But still all serviceable.

The location and the pool were excellent.

The property is severely run-down with barely anything working. The housekeeping staff never actually cleaned the room with a mop or vacuumed, they would just make the beds and replenish towels. There were water marks from the AC on the coffee corner that were there the entirety of our stay. I left some dirt in certain places and it was never cleaned. The food at the resort was awful. It was the exact same bland and soggy breakfast everyday and the room service food was so bad we constantly returned it uneaten. We also had no choice but to eat at the resort due to a monsoon at the island. Considering this a 5 star resort, it was a major disappointment. Everything from the rooms, linen, tech, beds, couches, and restaurants are in dire need of an upgrade.

This is a very good hotel, nested in front of the beach (literally on the beach). The rooms are very spacious, with nice views to the ocean. The whole hotel area is green, full of trees and really nice atmosphere. Probably you will not want to leave your room or the hotel. Breakfast is of a good level.

Wifi is slow. Breakfast could be better organized, specially avoiding that guests run out of glasses, bowls, spoons and also food. Of special mention is the milk section, the whole solution does not fit a hotel of this category. Swimming pool is very small and shallow. The access to the ocean is closed and the water line next to the hotel has some smell. The access to the ocean should be improved substantially.
