We spent two nights here while visiting relatives nearby and were very pleased with the room and the service. The room was large, clean and comfortable with decent facilities. We had a confusion with the booking - partly, at least, our own fault - and this was sorted out swiftly, pleasantly and efficiently. Breakfasts were excellent, with a good variety of well-presented food and drink. There is ample parking.

Clean functional room. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Didn't get to use the leisure facilities. I liked the wood closure as a curtain effect. The bed was really comfortable. Pillows comfortable but a bit lumpy. The bathroom needed a whole redo. Very dated and some cracks etc. Lots of parking available if you have a car.

Building, layout, restaurant and bar area all nice, and clean.

The rooms was old, walls full of marks, off coloured white pain, smelt of smoke. Dusty and mould in the bathroom. Carpets looked dirty, didn’t want to take off my shoes. General staff were nice and friendly but management wasn’t so friendly or approachable.
