Easy parking - not Free Convenient for Hospital

So friendly, clean and had everything we needed

Location was perfect next to the hospital

It was a little bit old inside and looks like a renovation may be due but everything was spotless so it didn’t matter

The young lady at the reception was really friendly and helpful. The food was tasty, bed comfortable, room clean, and I enjoyed my morning swimming.

The room, restaurant and pool were great.

Quite expensive

Room was spacious and clean, breakfast was decent and nice lounge areas

It's outrageous that you have to pay full parking price even when you are a guest here. At £8 per night this adds a significant expense to the stay, you should definitely get a discount if you are staying - this leaves a bad taste. In addition, the car park is spacious and this hotel is in an area with poor public transport, so it is likely you will need a car. I really don't think this provides a good service. On top of this - we had a late guest arrival and although I'd left all details about who he was and when he was arriving, the receptionist showed him to the wrong room, accidentally entering that of another guest on our booking. It meant I had to get up whilst asleep to tell the receptionist details I had already given to his colleague. Finally, again when a few of us paid for breakfast for the following morning, they didn't know who was who and were confused. Overall, not a good customer service experience despite the hotel itself not being bad.

The reception and bar area were the selling point for this property.

Hoped to have been provided with more information at the welcome about where to find everything and what time to go down from breakfast and check out time.

Every member of staff greeted us with a hello. Amy help we needed, was sorted quickly and with a smile. The air con in the room was amazing ( on the hottest night of the year) We booked a suite, king size bed and double sofa bed. It was a great size, bathroom with separate bath and shower.

Said double but 2 beds pushed together!! Was comfortable but a bit of a cop out Also the cleaner knocking the door at 9 o clock Saturday morning when having a lay in. LOADS aswell !! That was too early , we had another night stay yet Then when we returned Sunday evening they didn’t come back to do our room.
