"Don’t waste your money"

Decent room though needs a socket by the bed. Different staff every day, who didn’t really know what was going on. Delighted to find parking was free as an IHG member. Less delighted to be fined £100 twice for “illegal” parking because the receptionist hadn’t logged car reg when I gave it to them immediately upon arrival. Even less delighted to also be charged 2 x £40 by car rental firm for administering the fines. Fines eventually cancelled after much to and fro with reception. However rental charges weren’t and despite HI Guildford admitting it was their error I was left out of pocket. Issue was raised as a complaint and was assured I’d get a call from hotel management, two weeks after our visit and still waiting. How not to deliver top notch customer service 🙄
