Fairfield Inn & Suites Jefferson City

Very comfortable and good service

I won’t stay here again. I checked in on my phone app but still stopped by the front desk when I arrived and got card keys. (Actually the card keys were sort of tossed to me across the high counter but whatever.) The TV in my room didn’t work. When I called the front desk she suggested I unplug it and plug it back in. Doing so allowed me to realize that the HDMI cable wasn’t plugged into anything. Fixed that. The bathroom sink (tiny with little counter space) had one lotion and two make up wipes for me. No hand soap. I am the sort of weirdo who keeps a bar of hotel soap in my travel bag so I used it. When I left the first morning, I put a note on the counter asking for a bar of soap. When I came back 10 hours later, my room hadn’t been touched. I have no idea why I didn’t get housekeeping. Or a bar of soap. I had my travel bar so I didn’t go to the front desk to get another. The point is I shouldn’t have had to. At breakfast the first morning the offering was eggs, pork sausage, and turkey sausage. The pork sausage looked terribly undercooked. The eggs were watery but tasted ok. The second morning the signs were the same but the pork sausage bin had bacon in it. A bright spot for the trip! Staff that I saw (front desk only) wore masks, as I did. I didn’t see a single guest with a mask but I don’t blame the hotel for that. The shower was spacious and the toiletry bottles in there were full. There are nicer locations in Jeff City, including another Marriott brand. I’ll choose one of them next time.

Nice hotel! Clean, quiet, and conveniently located on the West side of town away from heavy traffic and highway noise.

Safe was super friendly and even upgraded the room at no extra cost when the air stopped working correctly.

Good overnight stay near the highway, and near our meeting place for the next day.

Smooth check-in with no issues. Drove in from Memphis and the young lady behind the counter was very helpful, friendly, and efficient. Room was comfy and had no issues. I came to see the Capitol Building and it was a short 5 minute drive. One word of warning, most kitchens throughout this city close early. I recommend you eat at Buffalo Wings. However, if you arrive late, go to Casey for a pizza. It’s not the best but probably you’re only choice and the people there are helpful and friendly. Casey’s is not primarily a pizzeria but a gas station and if you order a pizza, it’s around a 45 minute wait. Breakfast buffet was decent. Good coffee, most fruit (no bananas though); they have two nice waffle makers, omelettes and scrambled eggs along with cereal, yoghurt, pastries, apple/orange juice and granola bars. The Gym was pretty small but did the job as it had 1 treadmill and a bunch of dumbbells. Also had plenty of towels, hand sanitizer, and a very good water machine with cups so that you could stay hydrated. All in all, a fairly comfortable stay and I’d definitely stay here again if in Jefferson City
