Four Points By Sheraton - Saginaw

Loved the rooms..would stay again.

I was looking foward to dining in house. The hotel advertised an attached restaurant, but the restaurant hasn't been opened in a while. I believe if or when the restaurant opens it will be an even better experience to your hotel stay.

Both reception and housekeeping staff were disappointing. No explanation of housekeeping policy at checkin. After 4 days I requested full service at desk with day manager. Room was not cleaned and I spoke with night manager. His initial response was housekeeping was gone for the day and he had no knowledge of the request. After more discussion he said he could give me a full set of bed linen. Next day I requested they remove dirty bed linen and replace towels. They didn't so I called a different night manager who gave same excuse about them being gone for the day. On 3rd day they provided service. No shower mat was given, empty tissue box I had put in the trash was not replaced and shampoo bottle was not refilled. Another issue was my room key opened the door on the floor below mine. This is security concern. Lastly, I requested a late checkout the night before with yet another night manager and was told next morning that I could not have a late checkout.

Everything was great! Bobo at the front desk was super wonderful, friendly and kind.

The morning staff was terrible from the minute I checked in. Her name was BO BO, that was the name I was given, when I asked for her government name no one seem to know it. The second shift staff was also rude. The hotel over booked. The room that I initially booked for two queen beds the gentleman informed me that they were sold out because they over booked. his name was Lavance. Lavance stated the only rooms they had available was ones with king bed. The outdoor pool was extremely dirty. I took pictures of the pool.

Hotel is in a great,, conventient location, with lots of food and shopping options nearby. My only disappointment was that the restaurant/bar was closed. I look forward to a glass of wine (or two) at the end of the day when traveling. The website needs to be updated saying that it is closed.
