"I wish I had chosen a different hotel"

The bar tender was nice and friendly.

The biggest thing for us was the football team. It was really loud with band practicing super early morning and the noise from the players half the night. Asked for later check out due to not being able to sleep and was told 12 is the latest. Ridiculous

"Great stay and service"

Great stay at the Doubletree Harrisonburg and got to love those cookies. I Easy check in on arrival via the app. The room was spacious and clean and nicely updated. I walked into a perfect cool temp room. The bed was comfy bed and the room had a safe and fridge too. Only downside was the pool was closed for maintenance. I did bring along my trunks but not the end of the world. Would still give it a 5 out of 5. The service was great here and this is a really nice hotel. A little older but adds to the charm and my room was updated. Thank you, Laurie, and everyone for making our stay great.

"Rundown hotel, no working pool"

Rundown hotel with no working pool. Management chooses to not update website or with partners that pool isn't working. Too late once I arrived and already paid. Carpets pulling up, tattered furniture, and restaurant was understaffed and told it would be a lengthy wait. It was too dark to see the menu anyway because lights weren't working above us. Never staying at any DoubleTree in future. How is this related to Hilton??

"misleading"

Pool was not open, nothing mentioned on site. We booked ONLY because it had an indoor pool for our little. Front desk reported they were working on it, that the heater went that day. It was clear the pool has not been touched in quite a while based on the water level and clarity. Clearly enough time to have posted something on their website, to give those looking for a pool a true opportunity to book somewhere with a working pool.

Herman is an excellent chef. He went beyond the call of duty to ensure my husband and I had a nourishing meal. We were traveling for my husband’s birthday! He and I enjoyed our stay thanks to Herman.

"Nice but disappointed"

Nice and clean

We specifically called and asked if the pool was open and then we got here and the heater was broken and the pool was freezing and dirty
