Port Askaig Hotel

The location is great. We needed a place in an emergency and they did everything we needed. The staff were funny and helpful.

It’s being rewired so some things don’t work. However this will pass.

Our room was comfortable. The hotel was old and full of character. Our host, Marian, was very helpful and welcoming. The food was good and freshly cooked. The atmosphere in the pub bar was great. Very handy for a trip to Jura.

The hotel and decor was rather tired and worn looking.

The people where amazing

Both Internet and cell service were spotty throughout the hotel but especially in my room.

Historic Hotel and Pub. Will stay again!

Location. Food quite good

In great need of upgrading

Food was good and staff were pleasant.

Accommodation is pretty basic but was as I expected. Hotel looks like it is rotting away slowly from the outside. Gutters are hanging on, windows and eaves are rotting. If not upgraded soon it could well be beyond repair. Such a shame that the owners are not maintaining a lovely hotel in great location.
