Erikka was an amazing server. She hustles and makes sure that everybody is taken care of all the time. She did a great job for us on a night when the chef went home early.

Beautiful and natural landscape. Our room was large and we enjoyed the fireplace each evening, as well as the patio! Housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay. Lovely property that is spread out and being close to the main lodge and pool, restaurants was key.

A truly idyllic experience! We don’t know exactly what to expect having never been to Arizona and found Boulders mix of activity and tranquility - in a uniquely beautiful setting - a wonderful respite for my wife and I. All of the staff we interacted with, including Jeff at Palo Verde, Shubham Raj at the Spa pool, and Johannes at the Grill were top tier - friendly and attentive. Walking the trail in the sunshine, enjoying smoothies by the adults only pool, and taking advantage of the health club level fitness facility made days relaxing and energizing. Our room had a view of the desert and a secluded air about it that made us feel we had it all to ourselves. We’re grateful for the experience and will be back again!

I’ve stayed at The Boulders for decades, and this was once a premier resort. Today, it’s living off its past. For a property that opened in the mid-1980s, the lack of reinvestment is obvious. The place is tired. Our room was only moderately clean, exterior areas were dirty, and basic maintenance—like functioning balcony doors—has been neglected. Service is not at a luxury level. Staff are polite but poorly trained, and the resort appears understaffed. Details are missed throughout. This is no longer a luxury experience. I won’t be back unless there is a full renovation and meaningful operational improvement. At this point, it’s not a Curio Collection—it’s a curious one.
