Lovely hotel, plenty of space. Main room lamps didn’t work only the bedside not really an issue, as the bathroom was bright.

Reception / bar area lovely and modern. Rooms need a bit of updating. Radiator in bathroom was turned on all night and we could switch it off and the room was boiling.

I didn't get to stay. Was told last minute they could no longer accommodate me. They did relocate us but our friends were staying at the Mercure so we were separated. When asked how I would be compensated for the inconvenience I received no response.

Our room was tiny with hardly any room to move although I was there for the whole weekend for business. I went back to reception who gave us another room which was slightly bigger than the last one. Rooms are really dated and bathroom, can hear a lot of outside noise. Our room heaters were not turned on when calling the reception we was told the whole hotel’s heating was not working due to the cold!? Then the staff member managed to miraculously make our room radiator work? There was no thermostat in the room to turn heating on/off or up/down. Definitely will not be returning.

The hotel is in an old building. The entrance is nice, open and inviting with a nice modern feel. The facilities are good, easy to get to local restaurants and events. The room was old, a little shabby. However it was clean. There should have been cotton buds, body lotion and a mini bar, which was missing from my room. Parking was ample. £10 daily rate. Breakfast was good. Nice quality selection and tasty. Staff were polite and well mannered as well as helpful.

great location in central Leicester. The room was large and comfortable. The fitness facility is basic with old equipment. Clearly an after thought.

Brilliant little room, lovely and quiet. Happy with how things were and the girl at check in was brilliant!! So happy!! However the hotel was so bloody hot!!!! So was hard to sleep finally went to make a cuppa tea in the morning and the milk was mouldy!!!

The room was really good and had an extra heater because the heated towel rail did not work. There was an iron and ironing board which is great when you have a meeting to attend. Only one bad mark, they would not give me a VAT number for my expenses claim.

5th floor suite. Very nice. Only slight problem is the lift only goes to 4th floor. Lovely breakfast
