Jupiter Hotel Wetherby

A dirty, unloved property that needs some tlc. The staff are doing their best in difficult conditions but they are understaffed. We would not return.

Stayed here many times before . Good stopover on A1. Handy for town centre for less extortionate priced drinks. I noticed the £2.6 bottle ofBritvic 55 went up-to £3.25 a bottle after 5pm . So don’t eat or drink there , go into the town.

Check in was quick. The unfortunate thing was arriving in the room, started to unpack only to find someone else’s belongings in a drawer. Obviously not been cleaned thoroughly, as we had been assured in a previous email. Told reception who removed items. No offer of a different room ! No apologies from management. On the plus side the hotel is very convenient for town. Also Joe on reception was very polite & helpful.

I have stayed in dozens of Mercure hotels and this is the worst by some margin. Scruffy corridors, joke shower. Even witnessed staff arguing. With a bit of investment it will be good I am sure

In room coffee facilities consisted of 2 dirty cups and no milk. Only given one hand towel between 2 of us and floor clearly not cleaned as clumps ofhair clearly visible. Came down to breakfast at 08.00 and cooked items l99ked like they had been kept warm for hours. Very dry. Definitely not staying here again.

In need of a refurbishment.

Helpful friendly staff. Comfortable room. Excellent service in the restaurant (more staff than diners when I went in) and good room service on the second night. Reqasonable choice for vegetarians on the menu. Overall, basically what you'd expect from a good hotel chain. This was a business trip and the hotel provided what I needed to work.

In desperate need of a refurb. Tatty and worn hotel massively over priced. Feels like a low rent motel but we paid £300 for 2 nights. Reception staff lovely. Sour breakfast manager.

This is a value hotel so don’t expect the Ritz and you won’t be disappointed. Clean and tidy but the whole place could do with a major refurbishment
