Comfortable room, friendly staff, good value for money

Fine for an overnight stop. Staff probably need some training in how to treat hotel guests & general decorum (I didn’t find it ‘funny’ and didn’t ‘laugh’ that no food was available after a 5 hour journey) and breakfast staff made it clear and vocal they ‘couldn’t be ****ed with serving people’ that morning - I’ll leave to the imagination what was said. Room itself was ok but very tired and hotel could do with a makeover and no amenities available. No parking available so had to park away from the hotel. Literally nothing else to say about this stay over!

Looks like it was a nice hotel but…., dirty, cold, needs a face lift and a good clean. Staff ok though.

Check in from 3…. Arrived at 3.30 after a long to find the room was not ready. Reluctantly offered some tokens for drinks in the bar whilst we waited for it to be cleaned.

The hote was good. Room as nice and beds comfortable. Good breakfast. Would have liked to have had a sandwich on arrival but restaurant didn't opel till 5.30. Didn't ealise there was room service available. Perhaps would have helped if receptionist had given us more info on checking in

Dated and need of refurshment. Paint flakin a d room cold

Drains in bathroom smell. Mould in the bathroom and on the arm chair. Carpet in room dirty and worn and windows rotten. Good points: location for Wetherby, Bed comfy and bar staff friendly.

My husband in a wheelchair but disabled room situated in a very inconvenient position at entrance to corridor just through door making it difficult to enter bedroom. A disabled person alone would not be able to cope.
