The hotel is good for the money and the staff are excellent

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. However the bed was uncomfortable and the air conditioning didn't work throughout the hotel. 2 night stay was too long on warm evenings. Breakfast was of value with decent choice for price. We wouldn't stay again based on uncomfortable night. Disappointed with room generally with mould on grouting in shower area. Good location

Good hotel, close to the main station and the Opera house and town centre. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Would stay here again.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly. It is just 5 blocks or so from the train station. We were very satisfied though we might have paid just slightly more and been directly in the center, but the center, preceded by the shopping street, is also a short walk from the Astoria. The neighborhood is populated with rather tawdry looking businesses or modest housing, so not certain I would walk late at night, though there is a police station that you pass on the way and the streets were always pretty empty when we used them. An interesting looking Lebonese restaurant is near by that we would have tried if we had stayed longer.

Typical 3-star hotel, spacious, furniture bit dated but other parts well maintained. Location within 10mins walk from centraal station and near lots of diamond shops - which should be quite safe but quiet at nights. Staff very friendly but help us early check-in

Stayed here for 1 night - location is excellent, rooms were clean. Would stay again.

We arrived early the day of our check in due to when our flight came in. Due to the long flight time we had had only a few hours of sleep for the 36 hours of being awake. When we arrived at the hotel we were able to get access to our room (though they also had a secure location for our luggage had we not been able to get into our room). Throughout our stay the staff really made a great difference for us. They were always friendly and helpful. We asked them many questions and they were always willing to make sure we were informed, from information about the Metro and the most convenient way to ride to local pubs and eateries.

As long as a room is clean, safe and comfortable, I am usually happy...the staff was great, but this well located Diamond District property had a great breakfast, was walkable to the train station, and had a surprisingly spacious king room hotel. The dated older bathroom didn’t bother me, but the badly stained carpeting was really gross. Thie bed should be replaced, the sheets were clean.....if the owners would do a mild update they might be better than mediocre....

All very practical and conveniant for a short stay. Excellant breakfast. Short walk from the railway station.

So glad we found this hotel as it was really excellent value for money! The hotel is only a short walk from Central Station, within easy access of the city centre and on a small, quiet side street near the diamond quarter. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very good indeed, spacious, clean, quiet, and with a comfortable bed and a bathroom with a bath and shower over the bath. The breakfast was very good, with a very good choice of different dishes including both hot and cold food.
