Astoria Hotel

OK hotel but it is very compact and a little tired Breakfast was OK

A nice hotel, in a quiet area, walkable to everywhere. Some staff very helpful, others not at all (one receptionist told my mum that she was aware there was a missing part in our air conditioning when she went to complain, and yet we weren't changed rooms? Why not fix something rather than putting someone into that room...? It did not seem like the hotel was at capacity. This complaint wasn't logged either when we told a very helpful receptionist on check out) Parts feel dated, and obviously a noisy air con unit on a weekend where temps were around 30degrees it wasn't the best stay, but appreciate it is reasonably priced and reasonably well located.

The hotel is tired. Staff pleasant and helpful. Frayed around the edges. Painting and carpet, newer mattresses would help a lot. Staying solo for business. Price was right. Safe. No amenities. 15 minute walk to restaurants and shopping. Budget travelers or those in transit looking for low price, or business in that immediate district....fine. Not a vacation spot

Walking distance to the station and historic center, which is a plus. Our window was facing the big stairs outside of the building, no view... Also, it was cold in the room, we had to asked for an extra comforter.

Great location we stayed one night here from Amsterdam bath was nice no face towels had to bring up the iron and board from downstairs but when we were about to leave I noticed the sheets were dirty I mean very dirty and it wasn’t us so this was the only reason I didn’t like it wasn’t as clean as it could have been

Less than 10 minute walk from Antwerpen Centraal Station, spacious and clean room with large, comfortable bed, tea and coffee in the room and also cold food and drinks available to buy from the lobby. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel’s prime benefit for me was its location on a quiet street close to the train station and the Keyserlei promenade, with restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself is small and fine. I found that I could hear a lot of conversation in the hall outside my door, which might be troublesome for light sleepers. The room had plenty of storage and the bed was comfortable. Liked the selection of snacks for sale in the lobby.

The Astoria Hotel is located within 5 or 6 minutes of the Antwerpen Centraal rail station, and about 20 minutes from the old city centre of the city. The staff was friendly, and helpful with maps and directions. We arrived latish (9:00 p.m.), and had some trouble getting information about nearby restaurants (since we had just come from Italy we were hungry), but that was the only slight hiccup. Antwerp is a very attractive city, with many attractive churches and museums, and we plan to return as soon as we can. When we do, the Astoria is on our list as a place to stay.

The heating was not working . And they charge my room but second room was again no heating system working
