Mercure Norwich Hotel

Room itself was fine. Good bed. Liked the water for drinking as well as the usual tea/coffee making facilities. The shower and bathroom was of a high standard. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Overal, a good price for three nights.

Lack of air conditioning in the room was a bit of an issue. It spoiled the stay and was really noticeable as it was so hot. I understand that the hotel is being refurbished and all rooms will have it.

So disappointed that the swimming pool was out of use. Breakfast good. I've stayed before and I knew what to expect but without the pool I wouldn't come again.

Not told beforehand or when checking in there was no pool. Should've been given the option of cancelling but not a word was said and I had to pay before I got my key.

Staff friendliness (particularly the girl at the desk - helped me to search for bus to city centre). Comfortable bed. Air conditioned. Clean room. Plenty of parking spaces

The ironing facility didn’t work. No electric plug next to the bed. Safety box didn’t work either

Location was good apart from you can hear lita of cars as it’s by a busy main road. Had to have window open as it was hot. Didn’t have breakfast there but seemed busy. Bed were huge and quite comfy. Staff were all nice and friendly

It’s abit out dated, our room needed updated and painted. We only were given 1 towel for bathroom. Limited tea coffee and not enough milk for the mornings.

Nice stay. Staff able to refund bfast, as not needed

Dated hotel generally all round. Needs a revamp to show Mercures reputation.

Location was good and so was parking. Breakfast plentiful.

They only have Pepsi Max in the bar. We hate diet drinks, why would you limit options to only diet! We didn't for drinks because of this.
