Homewood Suites Dallas/Park Central

The hotel needs some updates. My suite had a lot of wear and tear. The carpet had stains and was unraveling. The curtains were torn. The pullout couch had pet hair on it and the mattress appeared to have a blood or poop stain on it. I had to pay for my stay at the hotel counter, even though I had paid on Hotels.com prior to checking in. I was issued a refund, but it takes days to post to my account, so this alone ruined my trip. They also ran out of syrup at the hotel so there was no syrup for the waffles. I came down for coffee at 9 AM and it was all gone. I was not impressed and really wanted to go to another hotel but because I was charged twice for my stay and was waiting for a refund I didn’t have the money to do so.

Needs updated. Furniture in our room was wore out. Toilet ran constantly and the water in the bathroom wouldn’t turn off. When we arrived it was freezing in our room. Complained about the water issues and the maintenance man came but there was not any difference after he left.

This hotel is definitely in need of repairs and maintenance. The ceiling fans and lights in our room did not work. The dishwasher backed up in the middle of the night into the sink. Faucets were loose. Breakfast was not great.

It was a nice hotel and staff, but the room seemed a bit dirty with a few things broken. Breakfast was good! Parking was easy.

This place is a real dump and should be closed period. It's dirty, it smells and the sheets have stains. I can't believe Hilton has them as one of their Hotels. My family and I were supposed to be there for 4 nights but we left the next day at 6 am after another Hilton hotel told me that they had a room ready for me. Just a complete disaster in that place and the location looks like a construction site. Please close down that place.

Property is older, warm hallways, tub chipped in the bottom, raggedy shower curtain, ice machine broken in halls, the freezer made like 5 blocks of ice the entire stay. I would not stay here again. Oh and the night staff slept the entire time in the common area.

I booked a stay at this hotel for a friend of mine who needed somewhere to stay in the Dallas area. I wish we had done more research. There were homeless men loitering outside and a woman digging through the dumpster. There were stains that looked like blood on the carpet and ceiling of the room, and the shower head fell off as the shower was being used. The hotel was run-down and the area did not seem safe. My friend checked out after just one night, and the front desk staff told us that I would have to call Hilton to try to get some of my points refunded for the rest of the stay. I spent an hour on the phone with Hilton because they insisted that the hotel staff was supposed to take care of that, but when they called the hotel, the manager claimed he didn't know how. Obviously this hotel is not up to the Homewood Suites standards, and it should be avoided.

Professional staff were very accommodating, and kind! The room was great. Comfortable bed. Convenient kitchenette. The pool is nice. The spa was down--sometimes happens. The hot breakfast is good, and included! The fitness center is small but suited me well for ladies fitness. I LOVE that the hotel offers recycling! This inspires me to feel like we ALL care about Earth, including the Hiltons!

I was disappointed about the spa being under maintenance. The location isn't walkable, so could be fine for most, if they have a car. The price reflects the neighborhood, probably. It's a really good deal, but the hotel isn't in the best neighborhood to go walk around at night. The grounds are nice, with an iron fence, though, and there are nice shops and restaurants very close by car.

Place is desperately in need of a good cleaning and renovation.
