Homewood Suites by Hilton Dayton South

When I first arrived my reservation was not correct. Had to get that correction The receptionist at the counter seem to have an attitude about that. Then upon a injury to the room. The floors had not been swept The bathroom was still dirty. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes from the person stay prior to us. The balls had not been wiped down the blankets for the pull out couch had not been changed they were so the dirty ones from the person before us. The bathroom curtain was dirty as well. There was mold on the caulking of the bathtub. There was big areas of dirty handprints on the walls in the bedroom. The ceiling fan was covered in dust. Along with one of the ceiling fan blades being of a different color of every other one. The vents in the room were full of dust and debris. So each time the air kicked on you would smell that. Overall very unprofessional and very unclean to charge $300 a night for a room that does not look like it's been cleaned. For let alone I will not be staying at this hotel again. In addition to the issues with the cleanliness of the room. The staff seem to all have a different answer on when breakfast was. Then to find out that the person that was supposed to be there to start breakfast was an hour late each day which cause breakfast to open up an hour late because the people at the counter were new and had no idea what to do. Which due to that forced us to have to go elsewhere for breakfast and spend more money.

Very nice, the kitchen is very convenient, my only complaint was you could smell stale cigarette smoke. And maybe the bathrooms could use some updating, all in all it was good. The breakfast options are amazing.
