Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston-Westchase

The only issue was there wasn't enough washcloths or towels given, and when asked we had to wait for them to be washed.

The hotel was very accommodating, the breakfast options were great. The carpet in the room needs to be deep cleaned, I have a toddler that plays on the floor and he spilled water on the carpet and when he got up his grey pjs were stained from whatever dirt and filth was on the carpet, there was broken or unsafe pieces in the bathroom and when my toddler was driving his car on the carpet outside the pool a piece of glass cut open his finger. The hotel has great potential just needs some extra love and maintenance. The floor plan for the 2 bedroom suites is perfect for a family as well as the table and chairs, sofa and mini kitchen. We truly enjoyed our stay we just wished it was more maintained and cleaned better.

My room smelled of cigarettes and the tv inside the bedroom did not work. Housekeeping did not come to pickup trash or ask if new towels were needed. The shampoo bottle was empty and I did not receive a new one when requested.

Best out office

We weren’t in the room much but to sleep and shower… Breakfast was okay not worth waking up over sadly. And we stayed for 4day after 1day they cleaned our room took our towels from our room and didn’t replace them. We asked for towels every day after and was told there in the washer or the dry but was never given another bc now they were full capacity and have a towel shortage. We ended up buying some from Walmart. I love Homewood hotels in general especially bc of there amenities but probably wouldn’t stay at this location again.

The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Upon arrival we were early and asked to check in early around 12. The staff stated that house keeping was cleaning rooms and getting them ready and would call me when the room was ready due to me being a valued Hilton member. Check in is at 3pm and I never received a call before hand stating my room was ready. We waited until check in time and came and checked in and the room was still not ready. My party of 6 had to wait in the lobby for over and hour with 4 other families who’s room was not ready as well. This stay was not timely or professional. We had a 13 hour drive and just wanted to unpack and relax!

Minor repair. Ants to window sill. Breakfast was not refilled after 0935 approximately The front desk Annie/betty , I apologize for the forgetfulness of the name , she was there when we came back from a late dinner and when we went to eat breakfast. She still had a pleasant conversation and a smile. I would be very tired. She deserves a raise and / or a promotion. Not many will be that way. She made the checking in and out easy. That makes a person want to return
