Homewood Suites Williamsburg

I stay in this hotel every time I come to visit with my family and we always have a good time there.

We spent three nights at Homewood Suites by Hilton Williamsburg in late April for a visit to Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown. I was joined by my husband, son and mother in-law. We stayed in a king/double suite and it was perfect for us. The suite was clean and had plenty of space for us. The beds were so comfortable and we loved that housing keeping freshened our room each day. The breakfast was good, typical continental items. We were so close to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center and several restaurants. We had a great experience and will stay with Homewood Suites again.

Everything was great. All of the staff and management were outstanding, and the hotel is very clean!

The toilet in our room had many issues. We called the front desk numerous times. They told us that they have a problem with water flow at this hotel. We had 5 people in our room so this proved problematic. We kept having to use the hallway bathrooms because the toilet just wouldn't fill back up with water. The pull out sofa was terrible. We affectionately called it "the rock" and ended up having to rotate who slept on it each night because it was so horrible. Housekeeping didn't come in to clean so we called the front desk. When they finally showed up, they didn't leave any toilet paper. There were just a lot of things that added up to just a "mid" stay.

Good location and size of room was good. Plenty of towels given

Breakfast was really not nice and the furniture in the room was dated and marked. The sheets were very basic. There was a lot of noise from the air con unit and another thing that I have no idea what it was but it was loud behind a door

Easy to find, staff extremely helpful, clean rooms

This was an average stay. The lady that checked us out was amazing, honestly, had it not been for her, I would rate this stay lower. We had to park next door at the holiday inn and walk over due to the lack of parking options here and I felt unsafe walking between the hotels. The breakfast was okay. Next time, we will just stay next door at the Holiday Inn.
