Homewood Suites by Hilton Baltimore-BWI Airport

Ayani, the young woman at the front desk, and Jeff, the Concierge were both very pleasant and professional. They made my Check In process smooth and easy. However, the latin woman serving breakfast was EXTREMELY RUDE! She was totally dismissive when I tried to ask a question. Moreover, the food that she was bringing from the kitchen was cold BEFORE she put it in the serving area??

Awful experience! Room and facilities are generally fine but they use a heating and A/C system throughout the building that can only be A/C or heat. It’s currently 79 degrees in my room because the entire building is set to heat. Was told that it takes weeks to reset the system one way or the other. Definitely don’t recommend staying here. Find a place where the rooms have individual units.

I was very unhappy with the conditions of my room. It was very cold, not heat at all, and they said it was nothing they could do about it. But other rooms were hot, so that's weird. Bugs were flying around my room (mosquitoes and moth). I would not be going back this one.

The stay was very good. The condition of the bathroom needs some attention. The shower curtain definitely needs replaced. It would not stay closed. The door to the bathroom would not close. The water was hot though. The sink area for the bathroom was good. The room number was 309.

Homewood suites is built as a place that is home away from home. That has changed dramatically since Covid. I do not use paper plates and plastic forks to eat my breakfast, I do not use cardboard to fill in the window spaces between the window air conditioner. In fact, I have not seen a window air conditioner in the hotel in many many years. Ratty furniture, uncomfortable chairs in the room. After a long day, this isn’t really when I wanna come home too

ROACH ALERT!!! ————->>> ABORT! There appeared to have been repairs completed near the bathroom but there was no attempt to repaint the wall! The ceiling paint was peeling in the bathroom! The 1st or 2nd day saw what I thought was a small roach but thought I was maybe overthinking it. By day three there was a large roach near the bathroom sink. I asked the front desk if roaches were a known issue. They said they’d send maintenance and housekeeping to our room. The night of day there we saw several roaches in the kitchen, I suppose it was because they sprayed causing them to disperse. We checked out the following morning and saw a roach on the kitchen sink and on the floor as we were heading out the door!! . Absolutely DISGUSTED!!!

When I entered the room, it was EXTREMELY COLD. I found the thermostat on the wall hidden behind the TV and it read 58 degrees. I raised the temp and it warmed up quickly. Room with sofa & kitchenette were very poorly lit.

I have stayed here twice. Both times I called the hotel to request a shuttle, after I had arrived outside at the curb. Both times, I waited over half an hour, before requesting an Uber to get to the hotel. While I was waiting, other hotels’ shuttles had picked up passengers two different times. Stay somewhere else.
