Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Eagan

Clean room, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. my only complaint would be the room temp, while it was adjustable - the fan would not stay running to circulate the cooler air.

Nice and quiet

The room smelled musty the whole time. I tried opening the window for a bit but as soon as I turned the a/c on, it made the room smell. The shower drain was clogged but did get it fixed on our last night. Overall, it wasn’t the original room we booked and when we asked to switch, they said it wasn’t an option. Staff was very nice. Hot tub, pool, and gym were clean and great. Parking was very easy.

If you're looking to pay Hilton prices and get a Motel 6 experience, then this is the place for you. This is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. We were traveling with a pet, so I don't know if they purposely put us in a loud room, but ironically the pet was the quietest thing in this hotel. The walls are paper thin and you can hear all of the plumbing, coughing, and movement from other surrounding rooms and through the ceiling. It was so loud that my daughter and her dog elected to stay somewhere else the second night. I also discovered ants coming out of the wall on the second night. I had already paid for the room, so I refused to lose the money. The worst part is they sent me a text requesting feedback on my stay which I responded to with a poor review. No one reached out to me to discuss my feedback, nor did they ask how my stay was upon check out. This establishment is definately not consistent with the typcial Hilton experience.

My wife and I spent 4 nights here for a wedding and on check-in we met Zaque Medard and the service we received then and all during our stay was amazing. During our stay he was the go to person when on duty as he will go the extra mile to please us and other guest. Accommodating us with a late-night pizza craving was done with his always pleasant smile. We will be staying here on all future visits.

The staff was amazing. Our room so comfortable! Clean and the lounge was very nice. Hannah & Linda at the front desk were so nice & helpful. Zaque Medard was very helpful and knowledgeable. We appreciated his kindness & professionalism.

Pros: guy at front desk was friendly and did look into the billing situation (went to check-in at 3, front desk asked if I had made the reservation through a 3rd party. I advised that I did not and had booked directly through the hotel site. Then upon entering my credit card, I saw that they were trying to charge the entire room fee. I had explained that I had prepaid for the room. The front desk guy stated he could not see it and would look into it. I asked about 30 minutes after check-in if he had confirmed that I had paid for the hotel already and he confirmed that he did find the information). Cons: Just about everything else. I am not sure where these good reviews are coming from, and we booked based on the good reviews. Hallway smelled terrible and had a huge stain on the carpet. Room was disgusting- everywhere you looked there was visible stains, dead bugs in the windowsill, carpet was sticky to walk on, surfaces were sticky, room smelled worse than the hallway, and I woke up the last morning to a huge spider on the ceiling (and no, I personally have not stayed anywhere where I've seen any spider, let alone one this huge in the room). The door to the room also stuck terribly that I thought I had been given a room that someone else was in with the lock latched at the top- you really had to push and struggle to get the door open and then upon leaving you had to pull it shut to ensure it latched as it did not do this on its own. Bed was uncomfortable. I'm not sure how you find pillows that instantly flatten all the way to the bed. Pool area was much tinier than expected and hot tub felt like a warm bath and the jets were almost nonexistent. We did not try the food at the restaurant (personally, I feel that if the room that I am seeing is this unkept and dirty, what do the areas that I cannot see look like?). I've stayed in several Hilton hotels that were all nice, but this was not up to standards.

Staff was very welcoming. Rooms were clean. Would stay again.
