Hilton Garden Inn Portland Airport

Everyone is helpful and friendly. The king size bed was very comfortable! When the hot breakfast was available we found it to be delicious!! The service was very good in the dining area! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel!

The bathroom door had a very loud squeak from the hinges and if the bathroom was used during the night it would wake up anyone sharing your room. This should not happen. Could be dusted better - cobwebs in corners by ceiling and dust hanging from bathroom exhaust vent. It would be advisable to install a “safety handle” where you would exit the tub. Non-slip mat for the bottom of the tub is recommended. Didn’t care for the boxed breakfast due to lack of service personnel.

Placed smelled like marijuana more often than not. A breakfast was suppose to be provided everyday, but Cereal was the only option. Homeless people camped out outside the back street of The hotel.

Comfortable, clean. Staff was very good and helpful. Shuttle service timely and efficient.

Proximity to airport and not to expensive. Normally would pay 100 for a room in this type of hotel condition.

This place is a horrible representative of the Hilton Garden Brand. The deck clerk was great and helpful even though she was the only employee in the hotel at check in time. It’s Portland folks, no one should have to work by themselves in this environment. The beds are advertised as king size-they are not! Full size at best. Room 333. Both beds broken down in the center and impossible to lie flat on. The mattresses try to swallow you and not let you go. In many years of worldwide travel these are by far the worst I have seen much less try to sleep on. Coffee maker makes noise but does not actually work. Same with the bathroom fan. Probably why there is visible mold on the shower walls. At least that matches the filthy carpet. Our feet actually got dirty walking on the carpet. Just sleazy to say the least. I’ve stayed here before, maybe 7-8 years ago and it was really nice. That’s why I stayed again . Boy, not anymore. You’ve seen the foreign owned hotels where they buy the hotel and then never fix anything until it falls apart and the company pulls their franchise? This place reeks of that. Sorry to say. I’ll never stay here again for sure. Very sad.

I specifically booked this hotel bc of the restaurant. When i arrived, restaurant wasn't in operatio and that should be disclosed to hotels.com. i would have gone somewhere else. Bathroom sink had huge cracks in it. No showercap offeted. There were 2 bottles of water in the room but no signage if bottles were free. Bed and pillows comfortable. TV worked and the room was quiet.

Great location to stay at the night before flying out. Clean comfy rooms. Great staff. Be aware there is no breakfast on Sat/Sun.
