Hilton Tel Aviv

The Hilton has great beach access. It's a nice facility. However the rooms are small for $500 a night. There's no complimentary coffee, tea, or refrigerator. Most Israeli hotels have a refrigerator, and offer coffee and tea free with the room. I was disappointed in the size of the room for the price. They have a really nice pool and pool-side restaurant that's convenient. It's a nice resort if you want to be right on the water, I just don't think the rooms are worth $500 us a night. There are plenty of hotels right across the street from the Hilton that have really nice rooms, like Hotel Shalom, you just won't have the ocean view. However the beach access is pretty much the same, and you could save 150-200 bucks a night.

Had a very enjoyable week at the Hilton. The rooms were comfortable with nice size bath and separate shower cubicle. The breakfast was legendary and overall, the quality of the food at the hotel was great. The poolside staff were always very helpful and made sure that we had umbrellas, when needed. Occasionally, it felt that there were not enough restaurant staff in the evenings where we ate at the hotel, resulting in long waits for service or food to be delivered. Other than that, I could not fault the hotel and would strongly recommend it.

Great facilities. Lovey pool and staff. Sadly my “sea view” was of a car park. VERY difficult to get a taxi from hotel too - and you need one as it’s a bit further from centre than other hotels.

Charged for VAT. Website said bring passports, which I did. Did not say bring visas, which I left in the other hotels safe.I had airline tickets too. They didn't care.

Great hotel and location, fantastic beach, LGBT friendly, walking distance to Dizengoff St for restaurants and nightlife.

Expected to get ocean view and a good size room when we booked, but wasn't!
