Hampton Inn Nashville-I-24 Hickory Hollow

The man at the front desk accused my husband of having a drink when he was drinking red bull. He took my husband’s ID and walked off with it and made us wait a long time. Bad service. And he charged us more than what we have paid.

This is a clean, aging hotel that is priced fairly enough that you set the flaws aside. Air freshener is heavily used throughout the facility. Furniture in room could use some tinted Old English. Caulk in shower has grown moldy in places, but bathroom was clean. Breakfast was a fair offering. No boiled eggs or cheese omelets. Oatmeal was runny. Coffee was good. Overall, I would put the hotel on the bottom of typical Hampton Inn properties. The bell at the front desk without a constant show of reception staff harkens back to the cheaply priced roadside inns.

Very nice stay outside of nashville in a great location with tons of restaurants and shopping nearby. VR was a very friendly host at the front desk both at check in and check out.

We only stayed 1 night, but the overall experience went well. They were able to remove the feather bedding from the room (yay!), but the rooms were a bit musty / had a funky smell. Nothing that we couldn't sleep through. Hotel and room were pretty clean. Good value for the relatively low cost.

In general, the hotel is really showing its age however I was somewhat pleased with the stay. The breakfast was decent with a wide selection of foods. The dark and light roast coffee pots were fresh and extremely flavorful. The shower was really nice. Beds were quite comfortable. Room and common areas were clean. It's just an older property that could use a lot of tender loving care and remodeling.

Not used to seeing old, scratched up, worn furniture in a Hilton property. This property needs a make over.

The hotel is clean and they have a nice room and a good breakfast. The staff is very friendly.
