Location near relatives. Clean.

Bed linens don’t fit mattress and come off while in bed. I asked for ONE housekeeping service. Bed was changed, they took dirty towels but left no new towels. Left no toilet paper. Coffee “tray” never was serviced and had only decaf and no sugar or cream. Very poor housekeeping. Breakfast was OK. Convenient that it was offered.

Five star review for Eliu on reception. I am a ridiculously light sleeper (I even unplug the fridge to quiet the compressor!). I had a room right next to the elevator and the door ding would have kept me awake all night. Asked to be moved and the wonderful Eliu made it happen. Not an easy task as the hotel was heavily booked and I was staying a couple of nights. Eliu ended up upgrading my room to solve the issue, and would not let me pay the difference even though I was happy to and offered. Hopefully someone in management is reading this and lets Eliu know he is valued.

Easy check-in.

The room was not swept or vacuumed. The curtain is super dirty and the room had a bad odor. The heated pool was a lie. The jets in the jacuzzi kept turning off.

We visited the hotel twice in October 2025, beginning and at the end of our vacation tour in California. Location is great, only 25 min. drive to Laguna Beach. The hotel was clean, quiet, lots of free parking spaces and nice warm/cold breakfast. But the best was the hotel staff, here was Veronica and Eliu making the difference. Always smiling, helpful and very patient with our kids. The kids loved the heating hotel pool and the Jacuzzi. We are looking forward to check-in again.

Our room was broken into during our stay at this hotel (on 10/23/2025) in the early hours of the morning while I was in the room sleeping. A man watched my husband leave our room to head down for breakfast and entered our room using a master keycard. He did not work there to my knowledge and should not have had access to a staff all access keycard. The security here is non existent. This intruder was able to walk up and down the halls freely waiting for people to leave their hotel room. At least one other room was also robbed. Fortunately, I walked away unharmed but it was a very traumatic experience and has had me looking over my shoulder and on edge ever since this happened a couple of days ago. We had to wait hours for the general manager to show up who didn't seem to have any actual empathy at all with this very serious situation. Do better. This is not okay, and please for the safety of your guests, increase your security. At the very minimum MONITOR THE CAMERAS. I saw a suspicious man (not in hotel uniform) walking up and down the halls the day I checked in earlier in the week and should have taken that as a sign this place was not safe.
