Hampton Inn by Hilton Irvine East - Lake Forest

The location was convenient to family we were visiting. It was nice that there was a gym, pool and breakfast included.

The staff was busy trying to keep up but a few times, breakfast items and the water dispenser was empty.

The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. I appreciated their patience with my requests, and they were very accommodating. The rooms were clean and quiet. I highly recommend this hotel!

No tp in first floor bathrooms and staff didn’t react when mentioned at front desk. Was not given a first floor room when was promised on confirmation

Great location. Kinda worn though. Needs upgrades. Sink faucet was loose. Had to ask for it to be tightened, got quick response but final product was still loose. Staff very friendly and responsive.

Was here for 6 nights.,Things started well. Friendly helpful receptionists. Filtered water machine. Decent eating places a short drive away. However room looked tired with worn carpets annoying fridge door and ill fitting sink tap. You only get housekeeping every other day. Breakfast was poor compared to other Hamptons. Using the guest laundry requires downloading an app which won’t work for non US guests. We got an email whilst out enjoying ourselves saying we were being moved cos of an emergency. No explanation when clarification sought so stressed our day out. Found when returned bathroom had been flooded. Awful smell. Hotel offered to move us to a nearby hotel but with 4 weeks luggage impractical to move. Pointed out their 100% satisfaction pledge or you won’t be charged but the manager ignored this and the stress caused by the unexpected email and the awful smell and just said you were offered another hotel. Think this sums up this hotel. They seemed busy with sporty player guests. When that business dries up they might address some of the issues raised

Stay away from this hotel, it is filthy dirty. I stayed at this hotel for two nights and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. For starters, the door leading to the room was misaligned and the only way to close it was by slamming it shut. The bathroom door had the same problem. The carpeting had fresh stains throughout, especially next to the bed (see photos). There is a couch in the room that had what resembled vomit stains. Finally, to top it off, the bathroom sink did not drain properly. I reported these issues at about 4 pm on the day I checked in and it wasn’t until the second day of my stay that they made a half hearted effort to spot clean the carpet. The doors that did not close properly nor the sink that did not drain were never repaired. I have stayed at literally thousands of hotels, I am Hilton Diamond member and I have never stayed at a place as dirty and run down as this particular hotel
