Roami at Motorworks

This place by far was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. I like to have a small kitchenette wherever I go just cause I like to make drinks and it tops it. It is a basically a small apartment. It’s beautiful, comfortable, clean, and quiet if you’re looking to stay at a Place that’s better than a hotel than this is the place. It’s also in a safe area. Parking was easy if I ever go back I will definitely stay here again. It reached my expectations and then some not to mention the price was almost as much as stayingat a hotel or less and you get way better of a place.

Very spacious and clean apartment, and clean building. The apartment was well equipped with everythng we needed. It was just a short walk to the St. Charles trolley line making it easy to get down to the French Quarter or uptown to the Garden District. And it was a perfect location for us since we needed to get to the nearby Amtrak station in the morning. When we arrived my 9 year old grandson noticed that some of the slats on the window blinds were bent. He was so worrried that we would be blamed for it that he had me take pictures to show that it was that way before we arrived. :-) I included the photos here--they really were not that bad. We were here only overnight, but it would have been great to spend a few days in this well appointed, comfortable space.

Property would be 10/10 BUT lots of the rooms have appliances that don’t work. Our fridge did not work and others complained of their washer/ dryer not working. This was a huge inconvenience bc we had to eat almost every meal out for a week when we had planned to eat some meals in to cut down on costs.

Quite space, enjoyed rooftop access.

Great property! Loved the space and the layout. I liked being able to replenish towels and other items.

We rented a two bedroom, 2 bath apartment with a full kitchen, couch pulled out into a bed, and a washer and dryer. everything was fine except for the dryer not working. with the dryer not working, it was hard to get resupplied on towels. the floors were also concrete, so kind of hard to walk on bare foot. all in all it was a pleasant stay.

The space was massive, BUT… The smell that hits you when you walk in was horrible. Like sewage. The main bathroom leaked and flooded the bedroom every time. Moldy shower. Kitchen faucet is extremely loose. The space is huge and no rugs so made conversation very difficult. Couch and chairs very uncomfortable. Beds, however, were comfy. No wine glasses?

Love that this apartment was a complete remodel of an older building. The modern feel of an otherwise older building was a refreshing touch. Clean, inviting, and comfortable, it was a new experience that my kids loved.

The only real bummer that the hosts can't really do anything about was the lack of decent, safe, and secure parking that is close and doesn't require out of the box planning to get your belongings to and from the unit.
