Could use many updates and deep cleaning, overall not bad for price

If you don’t like reading long reviews…in short, I DO NOT recommend staying at this location. My experience with Roami Motors New Orleans was frustrating and disappointing from the start of checking in…Upon arriving in town, I called to see if we could check in early. The customer service rep, Grace, told me it was against their policy. However, shortly after getting off the phone, I received a link showing early check-in was available for an additional fee but unfortunately, by that time, it was past the cutoff to request it. My family and I, which included two elders & an infant, killed time at the mall and grocery store. While at the mall, I received a call saying our check-in time would be pushed back with no ETA provided, which is completely unacceptable. After back-and-forth phone calls with different reps, they promised a manager would call us either that day (7/4/25) or the next (7/5/25) that never happened. I was told they would refund the cleaning fee, but as of now, I’m still waiting to see if that happens. (I’ll update this review if they follow through.) After about the fourth phone call, another agent offered to put us in a temporary room while ours was being cleaned, but warned that access to that room would lock at 7 PM. We reluctantly agreed, but still had no confirmed ETA for our actual room. By 6 PM, no call or update as promised. I texted again for an ETA via text but no response. My husband and I finally went to the 2nd floor to see for ourselves, and found a cleaner leaving our room at 6:30 PM keep in mind, our original check-in was scheduled for 4 PM. Conveniently, 5 minutes after we spoke to the cleaner, we received a text saying our room was ready. No prior ETA as promised just more delays and poor communication. The room itself appeared clean at first glance, but had gnats, flies, and a moth flying around not exactly welcoming. This was my first and last time booking with Roami. The disorganization, lack of communication, false information, and the inconvenience of having elders and an infant in the New Orleans heat waiting around is unacceptable. They offered us late check out but we declined as we didn’t need late check out. If you value your time, peace of mind, and basic customer service, I do not recommend this property.

This place is not habital !!! it flooded everyday in my rental. The toilet was not bolted to the ground the door handle fell off in the bathroom with my child locked in there I had to open it from the outside the ceiling leaked The dryer did not work,The door look like someone had broken in it had two screws on the outside of it when I asked for a refund they did not give me a full refund out of the $783 I paid they gave me $97 back In the I paid for early check in only to be met with flooding floors if I'm lying I'm flying! Good luck trying to get in touch with customer service after you have already used your bath towels to stop the flood from coming in. I told them that their closet did not have any new towels in there that took hours as well When the flood happened the second night it took 48 hours for someone to show up! do not rent thids place

I did not like that maintenance came five later to mop. I paid for early check -in only for the floors to be flooded. I could not use the space. Then told me the turnaround time on the second time the place flooded was 24 to 48 hours. Doorhandle fell off dryer were not working the toilet on the first floor of my two-story rental was not bolted to the ground. The bed collapsed because the planks were missing from under it, and some were broken. This was my second time renting one off their units the first time the air conditioning went down! I should have never returned!

The apartment itself? Loved it. Clean, cozy, and exactly what I expected. But one of the main reasons I booked this place was because it had a washer and dryer, keyword: and. The washer did its job, no complaints there. The dryer, however, decided to sit this one out. I reached out to the host, got a quick reply saying a tech would be contacted, so I thought, “Perfect, handled!” Nope. Hours went by nothing. I followed up. Crickets. Followed up again. More crickets. I ended up staying three more days with zero communication and had to turn the apartment into a DIY laundromat just to dry my clothes. Honestly, it would’ve been a 5-star stay, but if you’re going to advertise amenities, make sure they work or at the very least, respond when guests reach out. A little communication goes a long way.

The photos the actual photos of the property. I really love how the smart tv was setup to watch just about any app or movie to your choice. The kitchen was perfect! The sofa was full size, which is a plus.Everything was amazing other than the dryer disfunction, and old leakage on the brick wall was questionable. Also the sheets didnt look 100 percent clean.
